The Roslyn Chamber of Commerce was pleased to coordinate a ribbon-cutting for Schmackary’s “Lip-Schmackin’ Good Cookies” on Monday, June 2. Owner Brenda Grayson welcomed the community to the new store.
Schmackary’s is known for its delicious cookies, which are made with high-quality ingredients, are preservative-free, and have no trans fats. Schmackary’s offers over 100 flavors, including Funfetti, Sch’mores, The Candy Bar, and Yogi Bare, which feature a mix of peanut butter, oats, raisins, craisins, nuts, and seeds.
Schmackary’s is the brainchild of Zachary Schmahl, who used his childhood nickname as the basis for his business name. This is the fourth location for this cookie-oriented business.
Attending the ribbon cutting were the Roslyn Chamber President, Gwen Levy, acting president, and board members Barbara Kaplan, Melissa Spitalnick, Alicia Brown, Howie Mann, Graciela Hall, and Wayne Wink, as well as members John Wagner, Liana Berman, and Adam Haber.
Also in attendance were Zachary Schmahl, Robert Meyer, General Manager, and Jonny Polizzi, COO.
Schmackary’s Albertson is located at 1044 Willis Avenue in the same shopping center as The Food Emporium (formerly Waldbaum’s). Their phone number is 516-585-4995.
